January 14, 2009

Mighty Pictures is proud to have produced the newest trailer for the Global Film Initiatives’ annual Global Lens series.

The Global Film Initiative seeks to promote cross cultural understanding through film. It’s unique combination of programs shepherd projects through granting, distribution, and education, ensuring that the best cinema from around the world reaches the largest possible audience.

Drawing from almost two dozen films which represent the best of the Global Lens film catalogue, Mighty Pictures wove a narrative to embody the mission statement of the series. The new trailer will premiere this week at the Museum of Modern Art in New York along with a selection of films from Initiatives’ 2009 series. View the trailer and a complete program schedule here.

Mighty previously collaborated with the GFI on the trailer for the 2007 Global Lens series, which went on the win a Golden Trailer Award.
