Josh Glaser - Producer/Editor
Josh Glaser graduated from Columbia University with a degree in Philosophy in 2000, then quickly lost his way. His downward spiral includes producing, directing and/or editing numerous TV shows, theatrical film trailers, promos, long form documentaries and feature films.
Josh's short form editorial credits include promos for Showtime, HBO, ESPN, ABC, CBS, Nickelodeon, WE, and SpikeTV, national spots for Coke, Virgin Mobile and Honda, and corporate work for Intel, Clinique and Viacom. His long form TV editing credits include: The World Series of Poker on ESPN, The Superbowl XL pre-game show, The ESPY awards , CBS's College Football's 10 Greatest Teams , and ABC's Businessweek Moneytalks. Josh has also directed live action spots for SpikeTV and Xbox.
In the world of feature films, Josh has cut theatrical trailers for clients including Paramount Pictures and The Film Movement. He has been nominated for three golden trailer awards. For War Dance (2007 Sundance Winner: Best Documentary Direction), Josh worked from the dailies while the film was in production to create a 15-minute fundraising showcase. Josh created visual effects for Lewis Lapham's The American Ruling Class (Official Selection 2005 Tribeca Film Festival), and served as the associate editor and opening titles designer of the HD feature The Look (Official Selection: 2003 Tribeca Film Festival).
Josh worked with video artist Eve Sussman doing all of the compositing for her HD project 89 Seconds at Alcazar, which was exhibited at the 2004 Whitney Biennial and is a part of the MOMA's permanent collection.
